About Lisa

Lisa is a photographer, artist, and educator based in Aoraki/Mount Cook. Inspired by years of travel, outdoor adventures, and beautiful places, she found the perfect home among New Zealand's dramatic landscapes.

Each poster begins with an original photograph and is transformed into a vibrant illustrated design, capturing the spirit of adventure and beauty found throughout Aotearoa.

The Story Behind The Still and Wild

The Still and Wild was born from a life lived fully — teaching in international schools across the globe, sailing around the world on a boat, and finding wonder in every corner of it. Lisa holds a Master's degree in Special Education and has spent her career creating meaningful learning experiences for children everywhere she's been.

The name says it all: still is about finding inner peace, slowing down, and discovering beauty in quiet moments. Wild is about staying adventurous, curious, and free at heart. The logo — with its mountains, ocean, and sun — is a reflection of that balance.

The journals were created from that same place — as a teacher who understood the power of reflection and creativity for young minds. Designed to inspire gratitude, mindfulness, and self-expression, they're made for kids who are learning to be both still and wild.
